So, you’ve decided you want extensions for your wedding hair, should you rent or purchase them? I suggest renting extensions for your wedding day if you just want them for that day. Another perk to renting is sometimes you don’t need a full set of extensions for your desired hairstyle and you can just rent a few pieces instead of buying a full set. 

If you want to be able to wear extensions for all the wedding festivities you have coming up (bachelorette party, bridal shower, honeymoon, etc.) then I would suggest purchasing a set. Extensions can last 1-2 years if they are well taken care of, so if you’re a girlie who wants the extra hair on a regular basis but doesn’t want sewn-in extensions or a permanent method- buy the clip-in extensions! They’re so easy to put in and you can instantly have more length + volume. I’m happy to teach you how to put them in too!

When you rent extensions, I will bring them on your wedding day and you’ll receive a package to mail them back to me in. You can take the extensions to the post office or UPS/Fedex (your choice but you will need to pay whatever shipping rate they require. It’s usually about $5.) You can also bring them to me at my studio (if I’m going to be there, you would need to schedule this ahead of time). Extensions must be received within 5 days of your event. A card will be put on file and if the extensions aren’t returned within 5 days, your card will be charged the same amount you paid for your rental. If the extensions are returned in poor condition or if you are missing pieces, you will also be charged. For example, you pay $110 to rent extensions from me. You do not return them within 5 days or they are returned in poor condition or with pieces missing, your card on file will be charged an additional $110 so I can replace my inventory.

When the party's over, take out your hair and brush it thoroughly. Un-clip the extensions and give those a good brush as well. Gather all of the wefts and secure a hair tie underneath the clips (I’ll provide hair ties as well!) loosely braid all the hair together and secure with another hair tie. Put the extensions in the package you were given (you'll receive a card with all this info if you go through with renting btw!) You’ll want to go to the post office the next business day to send the extensions back to me on time! No need to wash the extensions, I will handle all of that.

We can definitely do this! Please let me know ahead of time so I know what color you’ll need. You can try on extensions at your trial for no added fee. However, you would not be able to take them home unless you pay for the rental. If you choose not to pay for the rental, we can still put them in and I’ll take lots of pictures for you. I would then take them out of your hair. We can try to do the same hairstyle again without extensions, however, this will depend on how much time there is. I will make sure you leave with cute hair though, I promise!
